Critical Hit & Critical Hit Gaming Crossover (Credit, Discounts Etc.)
Since we're running two separate stores with 2 separate backends there are some important things that do and don't work between stores. For all points below CH will refer to Critical Hit Lt. Collins St. and CHG will refer to Critical Hit Gaming La Trobe St..
Credit
Any Credit item, be it trade credit or gift cards are locked to each store. We will be enabling the ability to buy CH gift cards with CHG credit and buying gift cards for CHG at CH in the future but in the meantime if you want credit for one store to work at the other please email us at gaming@criticalhit.com.au
Discounts
Discounts by default will be limited to the store that they are advertised for at the time. For any community groups your discount will apply for each store you apply for, by default all discounts agreed to currently just apply to CH. Achievement cards and Guildies apply to both stores, the discount varies slightly at each store due to the backend acting differently. We will do a deep dive down the line once we iron out the kinks of both backends.
Online orders
Online orders placed at criticalhit.com.au are CH online orders and therefore any pickups will be at our Lt. Collins St store. Online orders placed at crithit.com.au are CHG online orders and therefore any pickups will be at our La Trobe St. store. If you make an order from both stores and only want to collect from one location please email us at gaming@criticalhit.com.au with your preferred pick up location and we will let you know if we can facilitate it at the time.
Promotions
Promotional events will be limited to each store separately. For example with CH's free shipping on orders over $99 that only applies when you order $99 from that store.
Limits
In limited cases certain products may be limited that only one item may be procured from us regardless of store. So if you have purchased one at one location you will not be able to purchase it from the other. However for standard limited items like booster packs limits, whilst stock lasts if you go to each store you can purchase up to the limit at each, per each limited period. Eg. if there is a 3 booster pack per day limit you may go to CH and CHG each day and get 3 boosters from each.
